UNBALANCED MASCULINE ENERGY- WE NEED TO BECOME STRONGER

It is my opinion that our world wide dilemmas are the result of unbalanced masculine energy - I.e. interest in strategy, conquering (be it people or environment), and other forms of task accomplishment without heart center. If you agree you will understand when I say that the need for emergence of feminine qualities - for example nurturing, holistic thinking, and open-mindedness - is great at this time. As women we are in general carriers of the feminine values. We are the ones that consider well-being, community, culture, and love to be important. It is our job to represent those values on the planet. That's why we are here as women. From a cultural point of view that is why we are born women. We support life - in all its forms. This is our reason for being here, and the role that we are to perform.

We will never have the world we dream of without actively creating it. Men in general (not all) are happy with a locker room existence and do not have the same desire for a beautiful, lively, creative, loving, nurturing, musical world that we do. This does not mean that we have to be competitive or hostile to men, only that if we want something we have to become creative and get it. We do have the necessary tools but we need to become conscious of what we want to create and organized in our efforts. Over the last 2000 years by and large we bought patriarchy. It is our turn now to reverse that, and this means speaking up. Paradoxically it means calling on our inner masculine to represent and safeguard our inner feminine.

We have to breathe life into our ability to focus, to take action, to accomplish tasks. We need to strengthen ourselves so we can call on society to provide what we want and need, what we believe is good. We must master the tools and skills that will enable us to communicate clearly and effectively. We must become psychologically strong so that we do not regard ourselves as lacking or as underdogs. And we must create the bonds that will let us work together, forging a strong voice which will help us achieve the things we desire. These are things which will ultimately allow us to promote the feminine values which are closest to our hearts, and which give our lives heart and meaning.
