The Women's School is an educational organization that is spiritually based. This means we espouse spirituality as a way of empowering ourselves. It is run by women and devoted to the enhancement of women's lives and the passing of women's wisdom. Our official objects of worship take feminine forms; we honor the goddesses and all of their aspects. We embrace women of all spiritual paths, because they are women, but we are formally represent the Goddess and the feminine principles, or feminine energy.

We believe that women have a significant role in standing for life-affirming values on the planet and that there is need for strong feminine presence to balance the competitive and exploitive forces that dominate our world. We espouse values of peace, freedom, inclusiveness, responsibility, respect, compassion, individuality, cooperation and mutual well-being. We would like to see equality, and social, political and economic justice in the world. We are concerned for all living beings and the planet that is our home. We esteem the preciousness of earth, air and water and affirm the right of all people to have a healthy environment.

We believe that as women weneed a home of our own to discuss all issues of importance to us in privacy.We also have a need to advocate for our own interests, which are often synonymous with the well-being of all. Only we can speak authoritatively about what is right for us - what we want and need. It is fundamental that we have the opportunity to examine issues, assess our needs and plan strategies in the privacy of our own gathering place. This is essential if we are to have a strong voice. We seek a permanent of a home in Sonoma county where we can perform these tasks.

We encourage and facilitate the accomplishment of our goals by bringing women together and creating opportunities for them to express themselves and hear others. Women are the experts here. Thru this process women become empowered to trust themselves and discover their wants and needs. We offer classes, workshops, and symposiums, on issues of importance to us, and networking and other activities that aid us in this accomplishment.
